2012 Senior of the Year Nominations Wanted

The Calaveras County Commission on Aging is looking for nominations for the 2012 Senior of the Year Awards. This is an opportunity to recognize volunteers who are a vital lifeline for many organizations throughout the county.

Eligibility requirements are that they must be a resident of Calaveras County, 60 years of age or older, an active volunteer in the county and not a previous winner. Nomination packets are available at the Calaveras Senior Center in San Andreas or online at www.calaverascountycoa.org. They can also be e-mailed or faxed to you. The nominations must be returned by April 2nd, 2012.
 

All nominees will be awarded a certificate of appreciation and be honored at a luncheon on Tuesday, May 22nd at noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Andreas. Winners will be announced at the luncheon.
