Also killed were Senior Airman Julian S. Scholten, Capt. Nicholas S. Whitlock and 1st Lt. Justin J. Wilkens.

Died February 14, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom
21, of Maricopa, Ariz.; assigned to 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; died Feb. 14 as a result of a non-combat training incident in Djibouti.
