Sheriff Dept unveils new website

Internet based resources. The Sheriffs Office, working with Calaveras County Technology Services

Department staff, just finished a complete overhaul to the department's website. The new site includes

the traditional links that many members of the public visit including Sheriff s Logs, Press Releases and

On-Line Reporting; but the new Sheriffs website now provides more information and interesting facts

about the different divisions within the Sheriff s Office and the services we provide. The purpose for

revamping the website was to provide a more professional, up-to-date, and interesting avenue for the

public to view our department. The implementation of the on-line reporting option in the last year

expanded our capabilities and we hope that the new website will assist in increasing awareness about

the Sheriff s Office services while improving customer service to the public by providing more

information about the department and how to contact us.
