The Angel Tree is up

Update 12-3-11 the December 5th deadline is for the submission of names to be included on the Tree, and the deadline for returning gifts is actually December 12th.

Umpqua Bank has proudly decorated their Christmas tree with little angels to be 'adopted.'

Organized and sponsored by the Lake Tulloch Tootsies- a Red Hat group, the Angel Tree is set up for children in our community in need. Through the food pantry and other resources the children of our community receive their food, medical and dental care, but when Christmas time comes each year the Red Hatters wanted to make sure it was merry and that they know they are loved. Each angel on the tree signifies a child, their age and sex (names wihtheld). Choose an angel to shop for. Once you have completed your shopping, bring your wrapped gifts to Dell Jackson Insurance along with the paper angel signifying your 'adopted' child.

All gifts are anonymous and need to be turned in by December 5, 2011.
