Copper Proper Brimming with Christmas Cheer

Copper Proper, a beautifully appointed home decor and gift store located in Copperopolis Town Square, is just brimming with Christmas cheer.

From crystal to Shea butter lotions, pillows to candles, bedding to copper kitchen ware and more, Copper Proper holds something for everyone, but more importantly it is sure to hold within its decorated walls that perfect gift for that someone in your life that has everything.

Entering in the door there is a small homage to the coming of fall with seasonal colors bursting from pots, planters and shelving, but the real beauty lay just past the threshold, the spectacular display of Christmas in all its glory. A pine tree trimmed to perfection, ornaments both simple and grand, chandeliers draped with red and green cheer, flickering lights adorning the walls and hidden in small alcoves. Magazine perfect.

Owner Fran, brimming with delight in her holiday creation, was hoping that the beauty she had created would not only bring people into her store to browse, but what her heart was really hoping was that people would stop by and drop a dollar or two in the jar she has proudly displayed on her front counter to raise "badly needed" funds for the Copperopolis Community Food Pantry. Pointing out that personal items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, diapers, and basic hygiene products were not items that could be purchased through the state and federal food banks to stock a local food bank, but that those products had to be purchased "over the counter at retail cost" to the Food Pantry. "Basic necessities are needed. Times are really hard and people need our help...any help."
