The winning raffle ticket for the Lake Tulloch Quilters beautiful handmade quilt that highlighted the beauty of the wilderness just beyond our towns borders utilizing falls bounty of warm rust and amber colors, was drawn at the Lake Tulloch Quilters meeting held October 4, 2011.....and the winner is .....Annie McKinnon!
Congratulations Annie.

Annie McKinnon presented quilt by LTQ member Marie Pierce

Over the years the words Lake Tulloch Quilters have become synonomous with "community support." If they are not raffling quilts to raise money for a community service in need, they are feverishly quilting quilts for clubs, schools, and teams to raffle to raise their own funds.

Selling tickets for the quilt at local community events and through the quilters themselves, the Lake Tulloch Quilters raised yet more money to give back to the community.

Over the years the Lake Tulloch Quilters have raised funds through quilt raffles to support:
The Angel Tree
Women's Crisis Center
Copperopolis Food Pantry
Science Camp
Copperopolis Elementary School
Copperopolis Branch Library

They have also made donation quilts  for:
Lions Club
Copperopolis VFW formation
Christmas Basket
Copperopolis Volunteer Firefighters
Copper Parks & Rec

If you would like more information about the Lake Tulloch Quilters you are invited to attend their meetings held the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at Blackcreek Hall.
(Beginners to advanced enjoy the friendship, learning, and creative outlet of the LTQ.)
