Copperopolis Town Square will be hosting their annual Scarecrow Auction on October 15, 2011 and they need you or your organization to build a scarecrow!
This is how it works: your original or traditional designed scarecrow will be proudly displayed in Town Square as soon as you have created it and delivered it to Copper Valley Realty. Your scarecrow will be placed in one of the many businesses in Town Square for all to see until the date of the auction. Attached to each scarecrow will be a sealed can for donations to your charity...in case people want to help but can't attend the auction.
Then on October 15, 2011, while the Friends of the Library Spaghetti feed is winding down, the auction will begin. Whatever amount your scarecrow is auctioned off for is what your charity will make...along with the donations that were collected from your donation can.
So start designing NOW!
Again, as soon as your scarecrow is delivered, it will be put on display with a donation can.
