Big Fish Contest

Big Fish Contest Rules Sponsored by Copper Cove at Lake Tulloch Owners’ Association
KIVA Committee
Who can enter: Anyone who fishes Lake Tulloch.
Entry Fee: $10.00 may be paid anytime, prior to fish entry or at the time of the first fish entry.
Under 18 yrs Those under 18 years of age are free.
Time Frame: Jul 1, 2011 through Oct 31, 2011.

BIG FISH CONTEST RULES: 1. All fish must be caught in Lake Tulloch.
2. The contest is in effect from Jul 1, 2011 to Oct 31, 2011.
3. Contestants must have a current valid fishing license.
To enter a fish for consideration in the contest, all of the following must be met:
4. Fish entered must have been caught in Lake Tulloch.
5. Contestants may enter fish in each category, there is no limit on how many fish can be entered.
6. The Contest Entry form must be filled out for each entry.
7. Entry Fee is $10.00 for the duration of the contest, Oct 31, 2011. Submit to Reneé Irwin.
8. A clear photograph showing both the fisherman and the fish must be submitted.

within 30 days following the catch. All entries must be received no later than 10. Any entries adjudged incomplete will be voided, consequently, ineligible for contest consideration. The size of the fish may be determined in one of two ways: 11. The fish may be weighed; or
12. To encourage catch and release, fish weight may be estimated by the Contest Chairman using the
following formula:
Length times the Girth Squared, then divided by the Species Factor
(Length X Girth)² / Factor = Weight
Bass (1600); Bluegill (1200); Catfish and Stripers (2000); White Bass (1400); Perch (2700);
Crappies (1250); Lake Trout, Brown Trout (2000).
A trophy will be awarded for the heaviest fish in the following categories:
Large Mouth Bass Small Mouth Bass
Trout Brown Trout
Catfish Panfish include: Bluegill, Crappie, Perch.
Categories may be added as deemed necessary.
TIES: Joint awards will be made, regardless, whether the entries are weighed or calculated. Trophies
