June 28, 2011 was the last Board of Supervisor's meeting set for public comments regarding the redistricting of Supervisorial districts. It is now on the July 5, 2011 agenda item #4:
ORDINANCE adopting the adjustment of the boundaries of supervisorial districts as required by Election Code Section 21500; Technology Services.
According to Supervisor Spellman, if adopted, the new district lines will come into effect 30 days fom the date of adoption.
While this affects many throughout the county, the affect to Copperopolis is that we will be absorbed into District 4 with Tom Tryon as our Supervisor.
