Overtime is budgeted at $90,688 per year, yet the public record does not break the overtime down per employee. At the time of Chief Cantrell submitting the expense chart and completing the fiscal analysis there was one paramedic on paid administrative leave. While an employee is on paid administrative leave overtime shifts are made available to fill that position to full time qualified staff and to per diem extra hires.
Based on the most recent fiscal analysis produced by Chief Cantrell the total expenditures for employees, including employer contributions, for year 10/11 $953,663.00.
