NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SACRAMENTO CA
216 PM PST FRI DEC 17 2010

...GUSTY WINDS EXPECTED TONIGHT...

.SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL INCREASE AFTER MIDNIGHT AS A COLD
FRONT APPROACHES THE AREA. SUSTAINED WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO
30 MPH IMMEDIATELY AHEAD OF THE FRONT. GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE
POSSIBLE TOWARD MORNING. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL DROP OFF QUICKLY
TOWARD MORNING AS THE FRONT SHIFTS EAST OF THE AREA. STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE WITH PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN TO CREATE BLOWING DEBRIS
AND HAZARDOUS TRAVELING CONDITIONS TONIGHT.
