ANOTHER WET AND WINDY WINTER STORM TO AFFECT THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA INTERIOR THIS WEEK
HIGH PRESSURE WILL GIVE WAY TO A STRONG PACIFIC STORM THIS WEEK WHICH WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR MORE HEAVY SNOW IN THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA AND TEHACHAPI MOUNTAINS ALONG WITH STRONG WINDS. THE STORM WILL ARRIVE TUESDAY AFTERNOON WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW TO OCCUR TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 PM PST WEDNESDAY... A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 PM PST WEDNESDAY FOR THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 2 TO 3 FEET OF NEW SNOW ABOVE 5000 FEET WITH UP TO ONE FOOT OF SNOW AT THE 4000 FOOT ELEVATION. * ELEVATION: SNOW LEVEL WILL FALL BELOW 4000 FEET BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
