Animals of Winter Watercolor Class for Children at Town Hall Arts

Town Hall Arts of Copperopolis featured artist for September, Selma Sattin shared her talent with the children of Copperopolis today, teaching them the finer aspects of watercolor. While Selma's love of nature is clearly evident in her brilliant and soothing watercolors, her love of sharing the world of art is even more apparant through the many classes she offers to the community through Town Hall Arts.

Selma began her artistic journey after thirty years in the nursing profession. Studying with Murphy's artist Carolyn Macpherson, Selma quickly developed her own style and feel. Today her journey continued with the instruction of winter watercolor with a few lucky children from Copper.

Jordan and Jack Snook, of Copperopolis, practice drawing animals of winter in Selma Sattin's watercolor class Dec. 30 at Town Hall Arts, under the clock, Copperopolis Town Square.

Mike Toberer, of Copperopolis, helps daughter, Grace, 5, sketch trees for her winter painting.

Zack Toberer, 12, sketches trees at Town Hall Arts.

Summer Hamari, 12, does a preliminary sketch for watercolor paintings of animals in winter.
